Official Techniqs

Problem

Techniqs needed a clear, professional web presence to attract clients and showcase web, mobile, and API work. The site had to communicate value quickly, work on all devices, and load fast so visitors could explore projects and get in touch without friction.

My role

Solo developer and designer: concept, copy, UI/UX, front-end (Vue), back-end (Laravel), deployment (CPanel), and ongoing maintenance.

Constraints

• Solo developer responsible for design, front-end, back-end and deployment.
• Needed to work within existing shared hosting (cPanel) and a modest budget.
• Site had to load quickly on low-end mobile devices and slower connections.

Key decisions

• Prioritised clear value propositions and service breakdown (Web, Mobile, API) so visitors immediately understand what Techniqs offers.
• Chose Vue for the front-end to align with other Techniqs projects and keep the stack consistent and maintainable.
• Designed a simple "How we work" flow (Discovery → Proposal → Build → Launch) to set expectations and build trust.
• Kept the layout responsive and performance-focused so the site works well on mobile and ranks better in search.

Challenges & learnings

• Balancing strong visuals with performance on shared hosting.
• Designing copy and layout that spoke to both technical and non-technical clients.

What I'd do next

• Add more in-depth case studies and client testimonials as new projects go live.
• Experiment with A/B testing on key landing sections to improve lead conversion.
